Spring Install Day

Post by RTW0223 on Tue Jan 28, 2014 6:02 pm

It's about that time to start thinking about what/how to get the stangs ready for the warm weather, or rather, time to start ordering them parts!  I know personally, i have a decent size list of stuff i need to do to mine to get her ready (brakes, CA's, oil, wiring, etc.).

So who would be down for a spring install day, maybe towards the end of Feb/ beginning of March when we have semi-decent weather
?

There is a place in Waynesboro, PA (just over the border) called Shadetree Garage.  (www.shadetreegarage.us) where a guy owns a newly built 4 bay garage (3 of them with lifts) and rents them out hourly.  I have been there once to install an exhaust on an FR-S.  It's a really nice place.  This is my first thought, as I could maybe contact the owner and see if it would be okay to have such an event there.  Other options are welcome, of course, but this came to mind as the place has multiple lifts, air tools, and specialty tools, and because i dont know anyone else with a lift haah.

Just throwing this out there as a suggestion/ meetup event.  Let me know your thoughts

Sounds like a good idea. I have to replace my e-brake cables and it would be so much easier using a lift

I prefer Sunday's. As for which Sunday, anything but next weekend. The farther in advance we plan, the easier it is to take off work -- I think anyone can attest to that.

Looks like I will be getting some rear control arms, upper being adjustable, and there is a set procedure for adjusting the arm.  So someone who has done this before should come to this!!!!
