Re: Tint????

I contacted Merci and I had planned to get mine done this trip but time went south and so I'll do it in December when I am back again. I had one of my other cars done and really the guy was sloppy and I am sick of lazy azz people in the tint biz. I am looking forward to getting my car tinted up.

You are right....However lifetime warranty is only as good as the line of tint or the business doing the work. I looked on line and prices are very competitive with tint and even exhaust for Maryland. Thanks for this information.

It will take longer for the little bubbles to level out but it will still be good after a few days. It may just take 3-4 days as opposed to 1 or 2.
I've had several cars tinted in the cold and they worked out same as cars I had tinted in the summer

Got mine done yesterday and I opted for computer cut and 50% and it looks sweet! I figured since I drive my car only for events and or weekend cruises it should be just fine. I actually have to say kudos to that shop because having my fox the guy who was doing the work really took his time and it was really nice feeling like I was someone instead of just a somebody! So thanks for mentioning Micro Edge.

Finally got it done, looks good BUT alot darker than I thought, we will see if there is a ticket in her future. They had 35% like I have on my car, so I figured Id knock it up to the next level which for them is 20%, looks good but Im wondering if a level between 20-35% would be available .....oh well, told her to enjoy and SMILE if she were to get stopped : )

I am no expert but I think that if you are cool and not making a statement I think the police will leave you alone. I have antique tags on my car and went with 50% which it totally out of my normal way of doing business and damn it looks good.

The factory windows have a green tint, so the 20% film over the factory tint makes it a tad darker than 20%.
