The Car Club at Virginia Tech held its semi-annual car show this past Saturday. Here are some pics!

This one best classic

We also went on a cruise after the show...

During the cruise, been noticing it's getting harder to shift between gears (mainly into 2nd and 3rd)

Thankfully the few domestics stuck together and represented. We can not allow the imports to take over!

Like the Mazdaspeed Protege, not many came in orange. Sure was a lot of ugly tuner cars there...

With your shifting problem, check your clutch cable. It may be stretching and starting to break. My old 92 5.0 started to get weird and one day, POP.... In my 93 2.3, I'm getting pretty good at fixing them. Almost totally popped another long cable a little over a week before I had spring break last week. Was pissed when I saw it was broke. The short cable is cake to replace. Damn bearing retainer for the 2.3 is obsolete and thats why I keep popping cables. Usually one or the other each year....

Oh trust me i know a thing or two about broken clutch cables. I'm on my third one, so I would know if it is going out. I was driving today and noticed the actual shifter handle is loose. The nuts apparently don't have bolts on the opposite end and thus have become loose....
